The short answer
This wiki does not publish a weapon tier list for TTK Testing. A tier list is a ranking. A ranking needs comparable measurements, a named build, and a date. The official Roblox description confirms fire, aim, crouch, lean, and weapon swap. It does not publish damage, rate of fire, magazine size, reload time, recoil, or a best-weapon order. The October 25, 2026 API check does not add those figures either. The live title includes the label [NEW AR15], which tells you an AR15 is the newest named addition in that title string. It does not tell you where that weapon sits against any other weapon.
Competitor pages often print S-tier labels, one-shot claims, and weapon names this site cannot tie to a primary source. Copying those labels would launder someone else's guess into a fact. The useful replacement is a self-test you can repeat, plus a checklist for reading anyone else's ranking without being misled.
Why a public tier list would be a false document
Sable Digital describes TTK Testing as a tactical shooter test, not a finished competitive season with a published rules sheet. On October 25, 2026 at 09:15 UTC+8, the official Roblox API for universe ID 10090256806 returned the name "TTK Testing 🎃 [NEW AR15]", genre Shooter / Deathmatch Shooter, a 12-player maximum, a created date of 2026-04-27, and an updated date of 2026-10-23 UTC. None of those fields is a weapon statistic. Visits, favorites, and the playing count sampled at that moment describe the experience's audience. They do not describe a gun.
The official description says the project updates weekly and sometimes daily. The June 2, 2026 DevForum post says the same weekly habit from the developer's side, and adds that a missed week is usually a large update rather than silence. A letter grade written on Monday can be about a weapon that changed, moved, or disappeared before the next weekend. This site will not freeze a guess into an S, A, or B row and then leave it looking permanent.
The same description warns that the XP/IC economy may be wiped. Even if a future build ties weapons to unlocks, a wipe can remove the path a ranking assumed. The XP and IC page explains that warning. A tier list that says "unlock this first" is progression advice. Progression advice needs a price, a level, or a menu this wiki has not verified. We do not have those, so we do not print them.
The June 2 DevForum post also says the game at that time had PVP multi-mode play plus character and weapon customization, and that the project is meant to be easy to pick up and lightly realistic rather than a hardcore milsim. Customization and a light-realism goal are design statements. They are not a balance spreadsheet. "Lightly realistic" does not tell you how many hits a fight takes. Treating a design sentence as a damage model is one of the ways unofficial rankings go wrong.
What the official control list actually gives you
The confirmed PC actions are M1 to fire, M2 to aim, C to crouch, Q and E to lean, and the number keys to swap weapons. P opens helmetcam. Settings includes Transparent Optics, described as a way to simulate both eyes open. Those inputs let you observe a weapon. They do not measure it. If a guide converts "M2 aim" into a claim about aim-down-sights time in milliseconds, the number did not come from the control list. Drop the number.
The weapons guide already draws this line: compare what you can see, and do not promote an unsourced damage table. This page is the policy behind that guide. It explains why the absence of a tier list is the accurate page, not a missing feature we forgot to fill.
A self-test that does not invent a ranking
You can still decide what you want to use. The decision stays personal, dated, and tied to one session. It does not become a site-wide grade. Use the same conditions for every weapon you compare, write down only what you observed, and stop before you turn a count of hits into a universal time-to-kill.
- Note the date and the title string on the Roblox page before you play. A comparison from a different update is a different test.
- Stay on one map option for the whole comparison. The official sources do not give this wiki a map list, so use whatever name the current vote shows you and write that label down for yourself. Do not publish it here as a permanent map roster.
- Pick one distance you can recognize again, such as "from this doorway to that piece of cover." Do not mix a long lane and a close corner and then call the result a weapon property.
- Select the weapon with its number key and confirm the on-screen label changed. If the label is AR15, you are looking at whatever the current build calls AR15. See the AR15 page for what the title does and does not confirm.
- Aim with M2, fire with M1, and count only hits you are willing to say you saw. Write "hits until the elimination registered," not a damage percentage.
- Repeat from the same spot against a similarly exposed fight, or stop if the fight was not comparable. One lucky angle is not a tier.
- Change one thing only if you run the test again: crouch with C, or lean with Q or E from real cover, or toggle Transparent Optics. A second variable without a second note is how false precision starts.
- Keep the note private or label it as your session. It is not an official TTK, and this wiki will not collect those notes into a ranking.
Official sources have not published a time-to-kill table. This site will not invent one to fill the gap. Your hit count is a personal observation under messy live conditions: the other player may have been hurt already, may have been moving, or may have left the angle. That is why the note says "what I saw," not "the weapon deals this much."
How to read the note a week later
Put four fields at the top of the note: the calendar date, the title string you saw, the platform you played on, and the map label the client showed. Under that, one line per weapon: the visible name, the rough distance in your own words, whether you were crouched or leaned, and the hit count you are confident about. Leave a blank where you are not confident. A blank is a result. It means you do not get to invent the missing hit.
If the Roblox updated date moves past 2026-10-23, treat older notes as history. The official cadence is weekly and sometimes daily, so a note can expire without any dramatic patch post. Re-run the same doorway test instead of promoting last week's count. The updates page separates live listing signals from plans, and the game stats page shows how to read the updated field yourself.
A checklist for someone else's tier list
Other wikis rank TTK Testing weapons anyway. Some of those pages are popular. Popularity is not a source. Before you change what you equip because a page printed a letter, walk the row through this list. If the page fails two or more lines, it is not evidence.
| Question to ask the other page | Acceptable answer | Reject the row when |
|---|---|---|
| Where did the weapon name come from? | The official title, the official description, or a label you can see in the current client. | The name appears only on that wiki, or it matches a different shooter. |
| What build date is the grade about? | A check date near the Roblox updated field, currently 2026-10-23 on the October 25 read. | No date, or a date from months before the last official update. |
| What was measured? | A method: distance, map condition, and what the author counted. | An S, A, or "one-shot" label with no method. |
| Are the numbers from Sable Digital? | A quotation or a figure you can find on the Roblox listing or the DevForum post. | Damage, fire rate, or recoil figures with no primary surface. |
| Does the page separate live PVP from plans? | CQB PVP is the mode the June 2 post called in-game. Co-op rescue and Big PVP are described core directions, not proof of a current meta. | The grade assumes a mode the live listing still calls a plan. |
| Does a wipe warning change the advice? | The page treats XP/IC unlock order as temporary. | The page tells you to grind a permanent meta the official description says can be wiped. |
The [NEW AR15] bracket is a common place for this mistake. It supports one careful sentence: on the October 25, 2026 API read, the experience name presented AR15 as a new addition. It does not support "AR15 is S tier," "AR15 is weak," or any attachment build. If a tier list uses the bracket as a grade, it has changed a title string into a balance claim. That is the move this checklist is for.
The same standard applies to words like meta, one-shot, and best close-range build. The DevForum post names lasers, flashlights, stances, callouts, door kicking, and lockpicking as part of the project. It does not assign those features to a weapon tier, and it does not publish the keys for them. A build guide that attaches a named optic or grip to AR15 and then ranks it has added parts the sources do not list. Send that row back to "unverified name."
Common mistakes
- Treating the game's name, TTK Testing, as if a time-to-kill chart shipped with it. The title is the experience name. A time-to-kill chart was not in the official description or the October 25 API fields we checked.
- Ranking weapons for a 12-player free-for-all as if the fight were a duel. Server size changes how many directions can see you. It does not create a damage number. Read the server browser and FFA habits pages for what the cap does change.
- Importing a tier list from a different Roblox shooter because the camera feels similar. Place ID 120189115846709 is the identity check. A familiar gun name on another game is not a source.
- Calling a weapon expired, nerfed, or buffed without an official note. The updated date tells you something changed. It does not tell you which weapon changed.
- Filling an empty grade with a community poll. A poll is a lead. It becomes a fact only when it matches a primary surface. Our verification method keeps polls in the lead column.
Editorial guidance, not a hidden ranking: if you are new, spend the first matches on the confirmed inputs and on whether you can read the sight picture. Transparent Optics and helmetcam change what you see. They are not weapon grades. Players who start with a copied tier list often skip that check and then blame the weapon for a view problem.
FAQ
Will this page add a tier list later?
Only if Sable Digital publishes comparable weapon data on an official surface, or if a writer can show a repeatable measurement that we are willing to label as a session observation rather than a studio stat. A letter grade is the wrong format for a session observation. The editorial policy already rejects meta loadouts presented as studio data.
Is AR15 the best weapon because it is in the title?
No. [NEW AR15] means the October 25, 2026 name string presents it as newly added. New is not a rank. Test it with the steps above if it appears in your session, and keep the result as your note.
Can I send you my own tier list?
You can mail a correction or a lead to hello@ttktesting.com. Include the date, the title string you saw, and what you actually counted. We will not turn that mail into an S-tier row. Mail is a lead, not a primary source.
Do weekly updates mean every weapon changes every week?
No. The official wording is that updates happen weekly and sometimes daily, and the DevForum post says a skipped week is usually a large update. That is a cadence. It is not a list of balance changes. It is enough to stop a ranking from being treated as stable.
What should I use instead of a tier list tonight?
Use the weapon you can select, aim, and fire without confusing it with another slot. Confirm the swap with the number keys. If the sight blocks the target, try Transparent Optics and compare. That is a complete decision procedure for a test that has not published stats.

How this page compares / what we won't publish
This page's whole job is the refusal: no weapon tier list, because there is no official damage data, because the project updates weekly and sometimes daily, and because XP and IC may be wiped. Competitor tier lists and competitor build hubs are the same temptation in two layouts. An S-tier rifle and a "best close-range build" both need a measurement this wiki does not have. We will not publish either one, and we will not publish the softer versions: a helmet-cam tier, an FFA tier, an attachment tier, or a "just for now" order that pretends the missing table is temporary packaging.
Read the linked methods as the replacement, not as a back door. Builds shows the self-test already sketched above, aimed at the three hub titles people search: distance, the free-for-all you are actually in, and helmetcam. Attachments stops at lasers, flashlights, and Transparent Optics, then tells you to read the loadout screen instead of a grade. Advanced controls ranks nothing. It combines M1, M2, C, Q, E, the number keys, and P. Expired codes refuses a second empty column that other sites fill with fiction. The roadmap refuses to rank guns for Big PVP, hostage rescue, or squad AI before those modes are a queue. If a future official sheet publishes comparable numbers, this page can say so with a date. A letter grade will still be the wrong shape for a note that can change when the updated field moves.
