The short answer
This glossary defines words this wiki already uses. Each entry says what the word means here, which source supports that use, and which extra meaning we refuse to add. It is not a lore bible and not a stats sheet. If a term is missing, we have not verified a definition worth printing. The check date for the official record cited below is October 25, 2026, with the June 2, 2026 DevForum post used where a design word started there.
Terms
TTK
On this site, TTK is the name of the experience: TTK Testing, place ID 120189115846709. Players elsewhere use TTK to mean time to kill, the time from the first hit to an elimination. Those are different uses of the same three letters. The official sources we checked did not publish a time-to-kill table, and the tier list page explains why we will not invent one. When a sentence on this wiki needs the statistic, it says "time to kill" in words and then says the figure is unpublished. When it means the game, it says TTK Testing.
FFA
Free-for-all. This wiki uses FFA for the public test players can join: a deathmatch-style round in which you are not given a team column by the pages that describe the live build. The October 25, 2026 genre label was Deathmatch Shooter, and maxPlayers was 12. FFA here does not mean a specific map, a score limit, or a rule that the last player alive wins. Those rules were not published. The habit page is FFA strategy. The October 15 pages often say "12-player FFA" for that public test. Keep the date on the sentence if you are quoting an older title string such as SERVERBROWSER.
CQB
The June 2, 2026 DevForum post names CQB PVP and marks it as in the game at that time. CQB is the common shorthand for close-quarters battle. The post uses the shorthand as a mode name. It does not give room sizes or a weapon whitelist. Do not treat CQB as a proven synonym for the later FFA label. The planned modes page keeps the clocks apart.
ADS
Players say ADS for aim down sights. The official control word is Aim, and the PC input is M2. This wiki does not claim the client prints the letters ADS. Use ADS only as player slang for the M2 aim action, and confirm what your screen does. Aim is not helmetcam. Helmetcam is P on PC. Mixing them is the mistake the helmetcam page is written to stop.
Lean
The published PC inputs are Q and E. The June 2 post also lists leaning among the project's features. Lean means offsetting your view from behind cover, not a speed boost and not immunity. The lean and peek page tells you to lean from the edge that actually protects you and to come back. No lean angle in degrees is published. On mobile and console, the action is unconfirmed until the client shows it. See mobile and console.
Helmetcam
A camera action the official description binds to P on PC. It is separate from M2 aim. The pages do not publish a field of view number or a battery. If P does nothing, the controls page says to check focus and menus before you decide the key is fake. Controller and touch binds are not in the published list.
Transparent Optics
A setting, not a weapon and not an attachment tier. The official description says it simulates both eyes open, so the sight housing blocks less of the view. Test it on and off in the same scene. The Transparent Optics page and the settings page refuse a "best value" because no numeric preset is official. It does not change the unpublished damage of a gun, including the AR15 named in the October 25 title.
XP
The first half of the official phrase "XP/IC economy." In ordinary usage XP means experience points used for progression. The description does not print an earn rate. It does say the economy may be wiped. Details are on the XP and IC page.
IC
The second half of "XP/IC." The official description does not spell the initials out. This glossary will not invent a long name. If the client expands it, the client wins. IC is not a code, and no verified code grants it.
PVE
Player versus environment: fights against game-controlled opponents rather than only against other players. The official description lists co-op PVE with squad AI as intent, together with story breach missions. The June 2 post's co-op missions and hostage rescues are the related core-mode phrase from that date. PVE is not confirmed as the live public queue. The live public reading remains the deathmatch-style test until the menu says otherwise.
PVP
Player versus player. The June 2 post said the game then had PVP multi-mode, with CQB PVP in the game, and named Big PVP as a core mode involving vehicle transport and long-range shooting. Team PVP appears in the official description as intent. PVP is the family name. It is not one queue with one rule set.
SERVERBROWSER
The bracket this wiki recorded in the public title on October 15, 2026: TTK Testing [SERVERBROWSER]. It signaled that server selection was part of how the experience presented itself. It did not publish a region list, a map rotation, or a rank. On October 25 the API name field was "TTK Testing 🎃 [NEW AR15]". Same place ID. The server browser page explains both strings. Quote the one you saw, with the date.
maxPlayers
The official cap field. It was 12 on the October 25, 2026 API read, and a sample of 10 public servers each showed that cap. It is not the concurrent playing count. The playing sample at 09:15 UTC+8 that day was 4,120, which is many servers, not one lobby of 4,120. Older text that said 8 is wrong.
Place ID and universe ID
Place ID 120189115846709 is the public game page. Universe ID 10090256806 is the experience id used for the games API. Match both when a look-alike uses a similar name. They are identity numbers, not version numbers.
Callouts, stances, lasers, flashlights, door kicking, lockpicking
Feature names from the June 2, 2026 DevForum post. Callouts mean communicated location or status in ordinary tactical language. The post does not give a phrase list or room names, so neither do we. Stances are named and not keyed, except that crouch is C in the official PC list. Do not add prone or a stance wheel. Lasers and flashlights are named and not given keys or candela numbers. Door kicking and lockpicking are named systems, not published buttons, and they are not the same sentence as the later "story breach missions" intent even though both involve doors. See planned modes before you merge them.
Milsim
The June 2 post says the project is lightly realistic and easy to pick up, not a hardcore milsim. Milsim, military simulation, is the thing they said they are not aiming to be. Use that sentence as a tone check on guides that demand a huge bind list. Do not use it to invent a simplified damage model in the other direction.
AR15
On October 25, 2026 the experience name included [NEW AR15]. That presents AR15 as a newly added weapon label. It is not a class of every rifle, not a tier, and not a build. The AR15 page is the boundary.
Active: none
The codes label when a dated check finds no verified redeemable string on the official surface. It is a result, not a temporary blank we forgot to fill. The method is on how we verify and source methodology.
How to use an entry when you write or when you read
- Find the term in the heading. Read the refusal in the same entry before you quote the definition in a shorter, stronger form.
- If you need a number and the entry does not contain one, the number is not part of the term. Do not import it from a video.
- When two entries seem to name one mode, open the planned modes table instead of forcing a synonym.
- When a guide says ADS and the client says Aim, follow the client. The glossary records the slang so you can translate, not so you can correct the developer.
- If the Roblox title or description changes a word, the later primary surface wins. Mail hello@ttktesting.com with the term, the sentence, and the official URL.
Editorial use, not a new definition: writers on this site should prefer the official verb when one exists. Say aim, not ADS, in a control instruction. Say XP/IC, not a guessed currency name. Say "in the game as of June 2" when that is the evidence, not "live now." The editorial policy is the rulebook. This page is the word list that keeps the rulebook from drifting between articles.
Common mistakes
- Defining TTK as a milliseconds table. The letters in the logo are not a spreadsheet.
- Defining FFA with a map name or a time limit this wiki does not have.
- Defining IC with a clever expansion. Unspelled means unspelled.
- Defining Transparent Optics as a rare attachment. It is a setting.
- Defining SERVERBROWSER and [NEW AR15] as two games. One place ID, two dated title strings.
- Defining every June feature as a playlist. Features and modes are separated on purpose.
FAQ
Why is a common FPS word missing?
If it is not on the pages and not in the official sentences we use, adding it would be decoration. Ask for it only if a primary source uses it.
Can ADS and aim both be correct?
Aim is the published word. ADS is acceptable slang in a discussion if you mean M2. Instructions on this site should say aim.
Is Deathmatch the same entry as FFA?
Deathmatch Shooter is the Roblox genre on the October 25 read. FFA is this wiki's name for the public test that genre agrees with. Neither entry includes a score cap.
Do I need this page before my first match?
No. The beginner guide is the first-match path. Use the glossary when a word in another guide is doing too much work.
Who updates a definition?
A later official sentence, checked with a date. Suggestions go to hello@ttktesting.com. The about page explains the correction standard.
