The short answer
The public TTK Testing match this wiki can describe is a free-for-all deathmatch-style test with a 12-player cap. There is no official strategy guide, no spawn chart, and no weapon ranking to attach to it. The habits below use only the published PC actions: aim with M2, fire with M1, crouch with C, lean with Q and E from real cover, swap with the number keys before you are stuck, and treat P helmetcam as a separate camera check. In a free-for-all, a second player can arrive from a direction your opponent was not watching either. That is the whole tactical claim. Everything else is a way to practice it without inventing damage.
What the 12-player cap changes about attention
maxPlayers was 12 on the October 25, 2026 API read, and a sample of 10 public servers each showed that cap. Twelve is not a crowd you can assign to two spawn doors. It is enough that "I cleared the person in front of me" is not the end of the fight. The maps page already says a strong angle in this test needs an exit, because danger is not limited to one team side. This page repeats that idea as a habit list. It still does not name maps or spawns. Repeated fight locations are observations you write for yourself, not guaranteed spawn rules.
The genre label on that API read was Deathmatch Shooter. Combined with the FFA wording already on the modes page, the live public shape is people hunting people, not a published objective list. Do not import hostage-rescue pacing or Big PVP vehicle pacing into this habit list. Those are June 2, 2026 core-mode names and they are not the queue this paragraph is about. If your menu shows a different mode, stop and use the planned modes page before you apply FFA habits to it. A co-op plan would reward staying with people. FFA punishes standing still next to someone who is not on your side, because there is no side.
Light realism, from the June 2 post, is a reason to keep the habits short. The team said the game should be easy to pick up, not a hardcore milsim. A 12-step clearance of every doorway is the wrong expectation. One lean, a look, a decision to shoot or leave, and a reset behind cover is the scale that matches both the published inputs and that design sentence. Callouts are named in the June post, but a free-for-all does not hand you a squad to call to. Use them only if the client gives you teammates. Otherwise the "callout" is a note you keep for the next life: which opening actually had a person.
The inputs, in the order a fight uses them
Start from cover you believe is solid, the test the maps page describes: a real object between you and the lane, not visual clutter. Lean with Q or E from the edge that matches the key, look once, and come back. The lean page is the long version. If the angle is empty, you may move. If it is not, you aim with M2 only when you need the sight picture, fire with M1, and leave the angle. Staying to admire the result is how the third player, the one the 12-cap makes ordinary, shoots you in the side.
Crouch with C when it changes what the cover hides, not as a default walk. A crouch that leaves your head in the same window did not buy safety. The official list does not say crouch reduces damage. Do not play as if it did. Swap with the number keys when the weapon you are holding is not the one you can read through the sight. If you are comparing the AR15 from the October 25 title, do it in a quiet moment using the AR15 method, not in the middle of a three-way fight. Transparent Optics is the setting to try when the sight itself is the problem. It simulates both eyes open. It is not an FFA perk.
Helmetcam on P is a view check, not a combat stance you hold while crossing. Press it once when you are safe enough to be confused on purpose, see what it changes, and go back to the view you can fight in. Doing this in a 12-player round while standing in the open teaches you nothing except that the camera is a bad hiding place.
One round you can repeat
- Join place ID 120189115846709. Expect a server cap of 12 unless the live maxPlayers field has changed. Confirm the creator is Sable Digital.
- On the first life, do not hunt a record. Pick one landmark the client shows you and one route back to solid cover. The new map checklist is this step in longer form. Do not rename the landmark into a public map callout.
- At the first corner, lean once from the protected edge. If you cannot tell which edge is protected, do not lean in the open and call it technique.
- If you shoot, leave the spot before you reload your nerves. The official sources do not publish a reload time, so "leave" is the habit, not a timed cancel.
- If a second angle was open while you aimed, write that down after you die. That note is the FFA lesson. A weapon grade is not.
- Use the number keys only to correct a wrong weapon, then return your eyes to the route. A swap menu is a pause in a server that can hold 12 people.
- Once per session, not once per life, test Transparent Optics and helmetcam in a safer second. Keep the view you can read.
- Stop the session while you can still say one sentence: what you will do at the same corner next time. That sentence is your strategy document.
A fair self-test of a habit is the same shape as the weapon self-test, with the weapon held constant. Same route, same lean, two lives. Ask whether you left the angle. Do not ask how many hit points the mode uses. Official sources have not published that, and a free-for-all is a bad laboratory because the other player may already have been hurt. The training page builds the inputs before these habits. Do the training pass if M2 and Q still feel like guesses. Strategy on top of missed inputs is a story you tell about a key you did not press.
What not to import from other modes
Door kicking and lockpicking are June 2 feature names without published keys. They are not FFA win conditions. Vehicle play belongs to the Big PVP description, which was not marked "in the game" the way CQB PVP was. If you are in the public deathmatch test, do not wait for a truck. Squad AI belongs to the co-op PVE intent in the official description. The people hurting you in FFA are not a script you can read. Report cheating through the in-game system described on the report page, not by standing still to gather evidence in the open.
Codes and currency do not change the corner. No verified code makes you harder to see. XP and IC may be wiped, so a purchased advantage is a bad thing to plan a season around even if a menu offers one. See codes and XP and IC. The habit list is free and survives a wipe because it is not stored on the account.
Common mistakes
- Playing FFA as a duel and blaming the weapon when a third angle kills you. The cap of 12 is the context.
- Holding lean or helmetcam as a permanent stance. Both are checks. The fight view is the one you can read, usually after you release the extra camera.
- Crouching in the open because a guide said crouch is safer. The input is confirmed. The damage reduction is not.
- Copying a "best FFA gun" list. There is no official tier. Use the weapon you can aim.
- Memorizing a map name from another wiki. This site does not verify map names. Learn the landmark in front of you.
- Treating a weekly update as a new strategy meta. The cadence means your corner note can expire. Re-walk the corner. Do not adopt a tier list because the updated field moved on 2026-10-23.
FAQ
Is this the same as CQB PVP?
Not proven. CQB PVP was in the game on June 2, 2026. This page is about the public 12-player deathmatch-style test. Use the mode label your client shows.
What is the best weapon for FFA?
No official answer. The weapon you can select, aim, and leave an angle with is the one to use tonight. Letter grades are rejected on the tier list page.
Should I rush or hold a corner?
The sources do not publish a scoring rule that would answer that. The habit is: see from cover, shoot if you meant to, leave the angle. A rush with no cover is the lean-in-the-open mistake.
Do these habits work on mobile and console?
The ideas about angles and cover do. The keys are PC. On other platforms, find the same actions from on-screen prompts before you try to lean. Unconfirmed buttons are not strategy.
Where do spawns fit?
They do not, as published facts. If you notice a repeated entry, treat it as a clue for the next life and re-check after an update. The maps page says the same thing.
