The short answer
The official TTK Testing description names Xbox and PS5 with PC and mobile. The only control mapping in that description is the PC set: Fire on M1, Aim on M2, Crouch on C, Lean on Q and E, weapon swap on the number keys, and helmetcam on P. No Xbox chart and no PlayStation chart were in the October 25, 2026 sources. This page does not assign triggers, bumpers, or face buttons to those actions. It tells you how to read the prompts the console client shows, and it labels every generic Roblox controller habit as a habit you still have to confirm in this game.
Supported platforms are not a button map
A compatibility line answers "can I launch it here?" A key list answers "what did the developer publish as the input?" Sable Digital published both, and they do not line up into a controller diagram. Players who copy a chart from a different shooter, or from a video about an older build, are answering a question the official text left open. The verification page puts that kind of chart in the refuse pile unless a primary surface or a dated in-session prompt supports each button.
On Xbox and on PlayStation, Roblox as a platform uses the controller that console already uses for the Roblox app. Experiences then bind actions to buttons and, when they are built carefully, show the button icon next to the action. That is a platform habit. It is not permission for this wiki to say that a particular trigger fires in TTK Testing. Your confirmation step is the icon and the result on screen, not a table on a fan site. The same rule applies to both consoles. We will not invent a difference between Xbox and PS5 that the description does not draw, and we will not invent a shared layout either.
Helmetcam and Transparent Optics need the same caution. P is the PC helmetcam input. On a controller, find the prompt that claims the camera action, test it once, and see whether the view changes without M2-style aiming. If there is no prompt, say so in your own note. Transparent Optics lives in Settings and is described as simulating both eyes open. The menu path on a controller was not published. Follow the settings labels you can highlight. The Transparent Optics guide is the comparison to run after you find the toggle. A television sitting far from you makes a blocked sight harder to read. That is a reason to test the setting. It is not a new official value for brightness or sensitivity. None is published here.
Actions to identify before you care about score
| Published action | PC input | What to do on Xbox or PS5 |
|---|---|---|
| Fire | M1 | Find the prompt or the result that fires. Test once when the muzzle is pointed at a safe surface if the mode allows. Remember the button you saw. Do not publish it as the universal bind. |
| Aim | M2 | Find the aim prompt. Notice whether the view stays aimed when you release. That behavior is an observation, not a spec sheet. |
| Crouch | C | Find crouch if a prompt exists. Do not assume the same face button a different Roblox game uses. |
| Lean | Q and E | Look for two directions. If the client only explains lean with keyboard letters, the controller bind is unconfirmed until a prompt or a test shows it. |
| Swap weapon | Number keys | Find the next-weapon or slot control the HUD shows. The October 25 title includes [NEW AR15], which still does not name a controller button. |
| Helmetcam | P | Search prompts for the camera. Test it apart from aim so you know which action you performed. |
June 2, 2026 DevForum systems — stances, lasers, flashlights, callouts, door kicking, lockpicking — also lack published controller binds. The post's design line is that the game should be easy to pick up and lightly realistic, not a hardcore milsim. Easy to pick up is a goal you can use as a bias: look for on-screen prompts first, because a prompt is how a console game teaches a bind. If the prompt is missing, the goal does not let us guess the bumper.
Server rules do not change because you sat down at a television. maxPlayers on the October 25 API read is 12. Free-for-all still means threats are not limited to one team's side. The server browser page and the FFA page cover that. A controller does not set the cap.
Confirm the live prompts
- Launch place ID 120189115846709 from the console Roblox client. Check the creator is Sable Digital. Stop if the title or the id is a different experience.
- Before the first fight, open your eyes for button icons next to actions. Write the icon you see in words ("left bumper showed crouch on my screen") and the date. That sentence is a personal note.
- Perform fire and aim separately. If one button seems to do both, try a single press and a hold, once each, and describe the result. Do not chain every button on the pad.
- Test crouch, then lean, from behind something solid. The lean and peek page is written for Q and E on PC. On a controller, use it only after you have found the lean actions. The cover advice still applies: lean from the edge that actually protects you, then return.
- Swap weapons until the equipped label changes. If you are comparing the newly titled AR15, keep the AR15 method: same distance, no invented damage.
- Test helmetcam as its own press. Leave the camera where you can fight before you push up.
- If Settings can be highlighted, find Transparent Optics and toggle it against the same sight. Keep the view you can read from the couch. Change nothing else in that test.
- If a button does nothing, check that a Roblox system menu is not focused, that a popup is not up, and that you are not in a state where the action cannot apply. Repeat the single button. Do not rebind from an untrusted site.
Roblox on consoles also has its own guide button behavior for the Roblox menu, chat, and leaving a game. Those are Roblox app controls, not TTK actions. This page does not restate a full console operating guide. Use the on-screen Roblox help for leaving a server or opening the Roblox menu, and use TTK prompts for fire, aim, crouch, lean, swap, and helmetcam. Mixing the two lists is how unofficial charts smuggle in buttons the developer never listed.
When a video shows a "best controller layout"
Treat the video as a lead. Pause on the frame that shows a prompt inside this place ID, and ignore frames that only show a hand on a pad. Then repeat the prompt yourself on today's build. The official updated field was 2026-10-23 UTC at our October 25 read, and the description allows weekly or daily updates. A layout video with no date is already weak. A layout video from before that updated field is about a record that has since been marked updated. Re-check. The controls page explains the same idea for keyboard players who think a key "does not work" when a menu has focus.
Common mistakes
- Publishing "RT fires, LT aims" as if it were the official list. It might be what one client did on one day. It was not in the description. Confirm it, date it, and do not let this wiki print it as canon.
- Assuming PS5 and Xbox differ, or assuming they match, without a source. The description lists both and then gives one PC map.
- Copying a milsim controller preset. The DevForum post says the project is not trying to be a hardcore milsim. A 40-button sim layout is the wrong expectation, and it is still not evidence of the real binds.
- Ignoring lean because a controller guide from another game has no lean. Q and E are published for PC. Look for the action before you decide the console build removed it.
- Buying a code or joining a Discord for a "console fix." No verified code and no official invite are on the Roblox surface.
FAQ
Can I play TTK Testing on Xbox and PS5?
The official description names both. Launch place 120189115846709 and confirm Sable Digital. That is the support claim we can stand behind.
What button fires?
The published answer is M1 on PC. On a controller, read the prompt in your client. This page refuses to substitute a trigger.
Are console players in the same 12-player servers?
The official maxPlayers value is a property of the experience, 12 at the October 25, 2026 API read. The sources we checked do not say that consoles are split into a different cap. They also do not publish a cross-play essay. Do not invent a separate console population. If the client shows you who is in the server, believe the client.
Does helmetcam exist on console?
P is the published PC input for helmetcam. Whether a controller button performs it is an in-client question. Test the prompt if you see one. If you see none, leave it unconfirmed.
Where is the official layout likely to appear if it is ever published?
On the Roblox description or inside the client prompts. Those are the surfaces we will cite. A fan chart is not the upgrade path.
